Chiropractic care

  • Chiropractic care focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal conditions that affect the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system. At The Good Movement, our approach to chiropractic is holistic and movement-focused, aiming not only to reduce pain but to restore optimal function and improve the way your body moves.

  • Each session may include a thorough assessment of your body through functional movement patterns, allowing us to identify areas of restriction, weakness, or imbalance. Treatment is personalised and may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, cupping, shockwave therapy, and tailored stretching and strengthening exercises. These techniques work together to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support long-term musculoskeletal health. Further details on each treatment approach can be found in the sections below.

  • At The Good Movement, chiropractic care commonly helps people experiencing a range of musculoskeletal conditions including low back pain, disc herniations, neck pain, headaches, nerve pain, TMJ dysfunction, arthritis/degeneration, muscle weakness, rib sprains, muscle tears, knee pain, shoulder pain, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, sinus congestion, tennis elbow and much more.

Chiropractic Treatment Approach

Massage therapy Approach

REMEDIAL MASSAGE

A targeted form of massage therapy designed to treat muscle tension, pain, and movement restrictions in the body. Using techniques such as deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, and stretching, remedial massage helps improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and restore normal muscle function. At The Good Movement, remedial massage therapy supports injury recovery, improves mobility, and helps clients move and perform at their best.

LYMPHATIC MASSAGE

A gentle, specialised therapy that stimulates the lymphatic system to help the body remove excess fluid, toxins, and waste. Using light rhythmic movements, it supports circulation, reduces swelling, and promotes the body’s natural healing processes. At The Good Movement, lymphatic massage can assist with recovery, reduce inflammation, and support overall wellbeing.

Pregnancy Massage

Designed to support the changing needs of the body during pregnancy. Using safe and gentle techniques, it helps relieve common discomforts such as lower back pain, hip tension, swelling, and muscle fatigue. At The Good Movement, pregnancy massage supports relaxation, improves circulation, and helps expectant mothers feel more comfortable throughout their pregnancy.
